Boca de Puma

Boca de Puma (Mouth of the Puma) was a former sacrificial site for the Mayans with hundreds of pottery shards littering the cenote floor. Unfortunately the owner had decided to "clean" the rocks surrounding the entrance, thereby introducing silt into the system. Visibility was less than 5 feet, and the dive was aborted.
